Save 15% on my favorite pattern design books with Bookshop.org

Books have always played a very important role in my life – even before I chose to pursue two degrees in creative writing, I was the kid who was always running late because she was trying to read a few more pages while getting dressed (I used to prop the book open with my foot – it was not efficient). Because I seriously considered a career in publishing for a long while, I’ve also paid a lot of attention to the seismic changes in publishing over the last two decades.  Which is why I have been a huge fan of Bookshop.org pretty much since it first appeared.

If you aren’t aware, Bookshop.org allows a percentage of every purchase to be put towards either a specific independent local bookstore of the customer’s choice, or puts that percentage towards a general fund that’s shared among all their participating bookstores.  Bookstores can even have their own storefronts, allowing them to receive profits from sales without having to keep massive amounts of extra inventory in their store.

As you may have noticed if you are a regular reader of this blog, I have a Bookshop.org affiliate page.  This allows me to recommend books I love with a direct link to where you can purchase them. I earn a small commission if you purchase something through my page, but you can still pick a bookstore that’s local to you to share profits with as well.

From March 16 to April 1, 2026, Bookshop.org is currently offering a promotion where I can offer 15% off for the booklist of my choosing with code BSO15, and of course I chose my Resources for Knit and Crochet Pattern Design. Click any of the titles below to purchase! (Please note the discount applies to hardback/paperbacks only and not e-books).
