All Packages Include

  • Free Initial meeting to discuss your project needs, budget, and timeline (this can be email or Zoom depending on your preference and schedule).

  • A full cost estimate submitted prior to execution of the service agreement.

  • Questionnaire to help you define your aesthetic and functional needs for your project.

  • (For merch and logos) Design brief delivered for your review before work begins.

  • (For layout and marketing materials) Mock-up delivered for your review before final text is laid out.

  • Final product delivered in InDesign CC package or Affinity Suite (client’s choice) as well as pdf (layout) or image or vector file format(s) of client’s choice.

  • (For layout and marketing materials) A Layout Style Sheet noting all graphic elements, font styles, colors, etc. so you can easily adapt it for each new pattern or document.

Custom Pattern or Publication Layouts

Is your pattern template in need of a refresh? Do you have a Word/Google Doc template you’d prefer to upgrade to InDesign or Affinity? I have nearly 20 years’ experience creating and editing InDesign layouts, including identifying fonts or design resources that will fit your budget, and ensuring any resources purchased include the correct licensing. I now also offer layouts in Affinity Publisher.

One-time development fee (covers identifying and sourcing fonts/graphic elements, development of a mock up pattern and up to two revisions of the mock up), plus a per hour charge for the final layout. Hourly estimate will be provided based on the scope of work needed.

Pattern or Document Layout Updating

Have a template you’re happy with but no one on staff with the time or expertise to get your new pattern into InDesign or Affinity? Have an event flyer you love but need to update it for the coming months? Let me do it for you!

Pricing starts at 1 hour minimum, then charged per hour. Hourly estimate will be provided based on scope of work needed.

Logos and Merch Design and Production

Need a new or refreshed logo? Want to offer stickers or other branded merchandise but not sure where to start? I will work with you to create a distinctive design that you and your customers will love — with an option to have me handle the ordering for you (either with a printer of your choice or one of my recommended vendors).

Priced at a flat fee based on scope of project and intended use. Production management (including ordering, providing product files in correct format to printer and handling any troubleshooting with printer) may be added for an additional flat fee.

Schematic and Chart Creation

Need a more accurate schematic, a crochet chart, or an assembly diagram for your craft kit? Let me create a clean vector illustration for you!

Package available for:

  • schematics (all crafts)

  • assembly diagrams (all crafts)

  • knit colorwork/cable charts

  • crochet charts

Priced at a flat fee but may vary depending on the complexity of the line drawing or size of the chart needed. Flat fee includes up to two revisions, a vector file in either Illustrator or Affinity Designer, and any other image format(s) needed. Discounts available when purchased with other services or multiple charts/line drawings are needed.

Style Sheet Development

Don’t have a branding and style guide? I can create one for you — either as part of a design or layout package, or as an individual service (just send me samples of your materials).

Priced at a flat fee — discounts available when purchased with other services.

Marketing Materials Design

Need business cards, postcards, stationary, or even PowerPoint slides that match your branding? Have a new brand/logo and want to show it off with a new suite of materials? Let me pull together a coordinated set of templates to meet all your business needs!

Priced at a flat fee based on scope of project and number of materials. Flat fee includes identifying and sourcing fonts/graphic elements, development of initial mock ups and up to two revisions of the mock up. For print materials production management (including ordering, providing product files in correct format to printer and handling troubleshooting) may be added for an additional flat fee.
